Orangatang Love Handles Wheels | 65mm/77a
Compact 65mm grip for pumping, carving and surfskate.
The Love Handles is a traction-focused wheel in a compact 65mm package, built for agility, acceleration and control. It's a top pick for pumping, surfskates and carving cruisers, where you want grip that holds when you lean hard. This set is the 77a durometer.
It's poured in Happy Thane with sharp lips, a 50mm width and a full 50mm contact patch, on an offset bearing seat. That's a lot of grip for a 65mm wheel, so it hooks up in tight, fast pumps and snaps back out of turns. The small size keeps it light and quick off the mark.

About Orangatang
Orangatang was hatched in Southern California in 2008 as the sister wheel brand of Loaded Boards. The two still share a building and most of the same crew in Culver City: Loaded builds the boards, and Orangatang makes what they roll on.
Orangatang is known for its Happy Thane urethane, a smooth, fast, high-traction formula, poured into shapes for every kind of longboarding, from compact freeride wheels to 105mm giants for distance pushing and e-skate. Every wheel is listed with real numbers for width, contact patch, lip shape and bearing seat, so you can choose exactly the ride you want.
FAQs
What are Orangatang Love Handles wheels best for?
Pumping, surfskating and grippy carving. The sharp lips and full 50mm contact patch hold hard in tight turns, and the 65mm size accelerates fast. They're a favourite upgrade for surfskates and pumping boards.
What does 77a mean?
77a is the softest Orangatang durometer. It gives the most grip and the smoothest, quietest roll over rough ground, but it slides less easily and wears a little faster. Great for lighter riders, rough roads and maximum hook-up.
Will these fit my surfskate or cruiser?
Most likely. 65mm is a common surfskate and cruiser size, and they take standard 608 bearings on any 8mm axle. On a topmount cruiser with loose trucks, check clearance at full lean; a 1/8" riser usually sorts any wheelbite.
Love Handles or Fat Free?
Love Handles are for grip: sharp lips and a 50mm contact patch for pumping and carving. Fat Free are for sliding: rounded lips and a narrow 37mm contact patch for freeride and tricks. Same 65mm size, very different ride.
Do they come with bearings?
No, they're sold as wheels only. You'll need 8 standard 608 skate bearings for a set of 4, and on longboard wheels we recommend bearings with built-in spacers, or separate spacers, for a smoother, longer-lasting setup.

Let customers speak for us
Why Buy from Twelve Board Store
Twelve Board Store has been riders selling to riders since 2013. We are not a generic retail chain — we are a specialist board sports retailer built around genuine product knowledge, real rider experience and the kind of after-sales support that only comes from a team that actually uses the gear they sell.
Every brand we stock, we ride. Every recommendation we make comes from real experience — on the mountain, in the park, on the street, and on the road. When you call us, you talk to someone who has been on a snowboard at Hotham last weekend or a skateboard in the carpark this morning. That is the difference between buying from Twelve and buying from a warehouse with a website.
We offer services that no online-only retailer can match. Our in-store workshop handles snowboard waxing and tuning, boot heat moulding, electric skateboard and e-bike repairs and assembly, and warranty support handled in-house rather than shipped offshore to a call centre. If something goes wrong with your gear, we fix it. If your boots don't fit, we sort it. If you ordered the wrong size, we swap it — no questions asked.
Our showroom at 435A Bridge Road Richmond stocks the full range across snowboards, bindings, boots, skateboards, longboards, electric skateboards, e-bikes, outerwear and accessories. We offer free shipping Australia-wide on orders over $89, AfterPay and Zip for flexible payment, and fast dispatch so your gear arrives when you need it.
Over a decade in business. More than 1,000 reviews. The most trusted specialist board store in Melbourne. If you need advice before you buy, call us on 03 9421 2293, visit us in-store, or contact us online — we'll get you sorted.
