Spitfire F4 OG Classic Wheels | 99D/54mm
The OG cut-away shape in the 54mm size that does a bit of everything.
This is Spitfire's original cut-away shape in a 54mm Formula Four. It's a versatile size that works on street and in the park, and the 99D duro is the classic all-round hardness.
The OG Classic gives you a wider riding surface than the regular Classic, with cut-away sidewalls to keep weight down. Formula Four urethane resists flat spots and slides smoothly without sticking, so the wheel feels stable on landings and predictable on grinds.

- 99D hardness: hard street and park duro with a predictable slide
- 54mm diameter: all-round size for street and park

About Spitfire
Spitfire Wheels started in San Francisco in 1987 and is still based there today, distributed through Deluxe alongside some of the city's best-known skate brands. The flame logo has been on the bottom of street, park and bowl setups ever since.
Today Spitfire is best known for Formula Four, its performance urethane built to resist flat spots, hold its shape and slide smoothly without sticking. It comes in a wide spread of shapes and hardnesses, from soft 80HD cruisers to hard 101D park wheels, so you can match the wheel to how and where you skate. Riders choose Spitfire because the wheels are consistent from set to set and simply last.
FAQs
What are the Spitfire F4 OG Classic 99D 54mm wheels best for?
All-round skating. 54mm handles street and park, and the wider OG riding surface feels planted. The OG Classic is Spitfire's original cut-away shape. It gives you a wider riding surface than the Classic, with the sidewalls cut away to keep weight down, so it feels stable underfoot but still quick.
What does 99D mean?
Spitfire rates hardness on its own Duro scale, written D or DU, and doesn't publish a conversion. Retailers generally list it on the A scale, so 99D is usually listed as 99A, a hard street and park wheel. It rolls fast on smooth concrete, grips well enough to set up tricks and slides predictably. On rough footpaths you'll feel more of the cracks than on a softer wheel.
What size wheel should I get, and do I need risers?
54mm is the all-rounder size. It's big enough to hold speed in the park and roll over rougher ground, but still light for street. Most standard trucks run 54mm wheels without risers.
Do they come with bearings?
No. They come as a set of four wheels without bearings. Any standard 608 skate bearing fits, so you'll need a set of eight bearings, and spacers if your bearings don't have them built in.

Why Buy from Twelve Board Store
Twelve Board Store has been riders selling to riders since 2013. We are not a generic retail chain — we are a specialist board sports retailer built around genuine product knowledge, real rider experience and the kind of after-sales support that only comes from a team that actually uses the gear they sell.
Every brand we stock, we ride. Every recommendation we make comes from real experience — on the mountain, in the park, on the street, and on the road. When you call us, you talk to someone who has been on a snowboard at Hotham last weekend or a skateboard in the carpark this morning. That is the difference between buying from Twelve and buying from a warehouse with a website.
We offer services that no online-only retailer can match. Our in-store workshop handles snowboard waxing and tuning, boot heat moulding, electric skateboard and e-bike repairs and assembly, and warranty support handled in-house rather than shipped offshore to a call centre. If something goes wrong with your gear, we fix it. If your boots don't fit, we sort it. If you ordered the wrong size, we swap it — no questions asked.
Our showroom at 435A Bridge Road Richmond stocks the full range across snowboards, bindings, boots, skateboards, longboards, electric skateboards, e-bikes, outerwear and accessories. We offer free shipping Australia-wide on orders over $89, AfterPay and Zip for flexible payment, and fast dispatch so your gear arrives when you need it.
Over a decade in business. More than 1,000 reviews. The most trusted specialist board store in Melbourne. If you need advice before you buy, call us on 03 9421 2293, visit us in-store, or contact us online — we'll get you sorted.
